Hi! I am in the same boat as you guys!!My Mother in lAw is the type to tell

everyone everything and tell everyone that she knows more than them! So, I

knew if I told her I was thinking of the surgery she would tell me all of the

other stuff, you know " If you would just work out with weghts, if you would

try xenecal ya di yadi yadi " So, I did NOT want her to know! We went to

Durham and when we got home his Mom started ascting suspicious. We decided

that with her big mouth we would rather tell her then let her go around

talking to everyone guessing about it. This way we could come right out and

tell her and tell her to keep her mouth shut (We should have given her some

steel for her trap! hee hee) anyway, I didnt want to tell her because I didnt

want ot listen to all of her advice. So, my husband told her. It pissed me

off that I was even in the position that I felt I had to tell her in order to

keep it private. She should just leave other peoples business their own,

anyway so my husband told her. The next day we were over there with my 3 yr

old son and he was standing in front of me. . .looks up to granny and says as

he is touching my tummy " Mommy had surgery! " HA HA! So, I know what you mean

about the infomrant! I thought he wouldnt even think to talk about it . .

glad we did tell her before hand or as you said above, " It would have opneed

a whole OTHER can of worms " if she thought we were hiding things from her!

Ahh Mother In LAws, arent they great! HA HA

Yes, Ihate to tell, but this is such a small town. She will probably

have it in the newspaper while I'm gone. It will be the same effect

of her phone calls. lol She really can be a dragon sometimes, but

mostly she just wants to run our lives. We just avoid the situation

as much as possible. lol Oh well, I'll just have to grin and bear it

one more time. Then I'll be sskinny and she can find another subject

to bitch about! lol
