Guest guest
Bonita -- I'm so glad that what I said made you feel better. It sounds as though Gabby, if he is able to go to college, may have a mild case. Mine is considered mild but it sure doesn't feel that way when I'm having a bad day....and when I have to take two hour naps. Right now one ear is bright red. And -- Don't always believe the prognosis. After a few months of the beginning of polychondritis I could barely talk, couldn't swallow food and was coughing every few seconds. The trachea was a mess. I realized later that the doctors thought I was going to die but they didn't tell me that, so I didn't know any better and didn't. Hey, I had my 15 minutes of fame when I made the medical journal. I've never read it because it will bring back very painful memories. It's better to enjoy things when I can and lounge and watch television when I can't.
