Humana insurance

Do any of you have Humana PPO insurance? I have Humana insurance and

I don't think it covers the gastric bypass. I have gotten all

excited about it, I was pretty skeptical at first but I have

researched it a lot and it sounds like something I need to do, but

now I am afraid that my insurance doesnt' cover it.

I have Human PPO Choice Network. My surgery was covered. At work, we

just got notice that Humana was not putting an exclusion in their plan

which would mean that Humana would no longer cover any surgery related

to obesity. Please note, that Humana reps could not confirm if it was

across the board or just in small groups that are fully insured. I

would think that when a plan is self insured, it would be the employer

who would make an exclusion vs. the insurance company. So you might

want to call.
