Guest guest
Hi, I'm Dana, I posted a couple times last month. I just love all the great info and support that this group offers. Many of you are so inspiring to keep working at our goals no matter how many obsticals. It is a blessing to have that available to all who seek or have had WLS. I just wanted to share that after almost a year in the working, getting all the referals, tests, documentation, more tests. I am finally seeing my surgeon tomorrow. The excitement of finally taking the " real " (in a sense) first step has given me butterflys. I am also trying not to get to ahead of myself as well. I'm sure the surgeon could come up with something else to do (that sure would not be the first time). I have been told after seeing my surgeon I should get a date within 5 weeks. A little of the nervousness also comes from being a military wife, time is starting to play into the scene since my husband could go back to Iraq in couple months. But no matter what, I feel I'm ready and will continue to surpass all that may come in the way. Although, I won't say that there won't be a scream or two with that if it happens. LOL Hopefully I will have all good news tomorrow. Dana
