Guest guest
I got a food mill, and the seeds go through =( And I'm getting super tired of standing over the stove for an hour each time I want to make jam trying to push the berries through a strainer. Anyone have a good way to do this? Peace =) Alyssa 15 yo UC April 2008, dx Sept 2008 SCD June 2009 (restarted) Chinese Herbs (not legal but helping!) Anyone have a good way to do this? Alyssa, I haven't tried to seed raspberries but if I were to try I would get out the good old manual Foley Food Mill I've had since dinosaurs roamed the earth. It has a sort of curved blade that sweeps around the strainer, and it's pretty quick. IF the holes aren't too big and would let the seeds through. I don't suppose your Mom (or Grandma) would have one of these in the back of a cupboard?
Guest guest
You may want to check & Sonoma online and get their catalogues. Lots of gadgets and the latest cookware and some recipes. I got my yogurt/meat themometer there. They also have free cooking classes at the mall by me on Sundays. It seems like they have everything eventually.
