Guest guest
Hi , Congratulations on your success and happy (belated) anniversary. I just wanted to ask you what you are doing to lose that last 20. I have about 30 to go myself before I hit my goal weight but am finding that my weight isn't moving lately. I'll admit a few things, I have a hard time taking in my water and since I still feel no hunger I often have to set a timer to remind me to eat. I work out five times a week, over two hours a day. I'm doing an hour cardio and then an hour plus of weight training-free and assisted. I've asked my doc and he says I should go see a nutritionist. He says taking in 900 is fine if you're maintaining a sedentary lifestyle BUT since I'm working out that hard, he didn't know how many cals to suggest. Soooo, basically I'm a little confused about what it is that needs to be adjusted. I eat as much as I can remember to during the day, however, I often don't exceed 800 cals. I get nasueated looking at or smelling food when I'm not hungry. Most of my protein is covered in shakes, chicken, or tuna, cheese, and yogurt. I don't feel I should curb my workout regimine, but am open to your advice!!! Look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Marla open RNY GB 360/216/185 2/12/
Guest guest
Marla, I can't give you advice on after WLS, but having dieted my whole life I do know that sometimes when you are not eating enough you will stop losing weight. I have a friend who was almost at her goal with Weight Watchers and she had the same problem. She stopped losing weight and had to up what she was eating. Another thing that they suggested to her was alternate what she was eating. She usually ate the same things every day. When she started putting in other things and mixing it up again she started losing again. Thought this might help.
