Guest guest Posted March 22, 2004 Report Share Posted March 22, 2004 Hi Cindy, First of all, congratulations on your weight loss. Every pound counts and twenty pounds isn't anything to scoff at. I think I was losing at about the same rate, I lost 47 pounds by 2 months, which is about 23 lbs. a month. I'm 13 months out now and I've gone from 360 to 216, you WILL drop the weight. Just try to stay upbeat and don't worry too much. Exercise as much as you can, especially in those first six months and push protein. With the water you might try a few things; maybe try crystal light in lieu of water or you could pour three quarters or a half glass of water and then add a bit of a juice you like to flavor it until you're able to drink pure water. It might take time to get used to it, but it does the job for the taste buds. Hope this helps...
