Guest guest
i've tried that but when I do since oil and water don't mix the water goes where it's supposed to and the vitamin E stays in the bottle..... am I doing something wrong?? What kind of "squirt bottle" do you use?-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a dayTo: BTVC-SCD From: alcibiades@...Date: Mon, 25 Jan 2010 20:51:29 -0500Subject: Re: some encouragement for anyone that needs it. I've had UC for a little over a year and been on SCD about 8 months. I still learn something new or find a new favorite recipe just about every other day. Last week I got a throat infection and had to go on oral antibiotics. A known big no-no for me and my butt. It was a tough choice for me to decide which end of my digestive tract I wanted to sacrifice for the 10 days I'd be on the antibiotics (or not be on them) but in the end I chose being able to swallow over not having to donate blood to the water treatment plant. When I first got UC, I had no solid stools, only mucus, blood, gas, and I would go about every 4 hours. Sooo frustrating! Now that I'm on the antibiotics, they have put me back into nearly the same situation. I'm realizing just how much healing I had accomplished in a relatively short amount of time. I had lost sight of how far I had come and I think this happens a lot. It's frustrating especially when you take a step back for every step and a half forward you t! ake on the diet. I know I'm much better off on SCD, because even on the antibiotics I'm only in the bathroom twice a day, and it's usually after drinking coffee (makes me bleed as well, but if I'm going to be bleeding I want to enjoy it somehow). My bathroom escapades might be red like a horror flick, but they are solid Something they NEVER were, even on medicine before SCD., try the vitamin E enema protocol to heal the ulcerations that are bleeding. It's very helpful.Mara Hotmail: Trusted email with powerful SPAM protection. Sign up now.

Guest guest
how do you get the vitamin E to come out with the water and not just the water and have the vit E stick to the thing? I know there were instructions written up someplace but I don't have them anymore.-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a dayTo: BTVC-SCD From: alcibiades@...Date: Mon, 25 Jan 2010 22:19:42 -0500Subject: Re: Vitamin E protocol. i've tried that but when I do since oil and water don't mix the water goes where it's supposed to and the vitamin E stays in the bottle..... am I doing something wrong?? You only use minimal warm water, like half a TB.Some of it is sticking, sure, but most of it is coming out. Mara

You would be emulsifying it and at least with salad dressing it stays emulsified for a little while.
