Guest guest
I was reading the post on VitaLady.com and the shakes helping to curb hunger and cravings. I thought surgery made the hunger and cravings go away? Or, is it different for everyone?
Guest guest
You start to have some hunger the further out you get. I find It is very easy to satisfy. I am 1 year out and if I feel hungry I just pop a sugarfree candy in my mouth and I am fine. Protein definitely curb hunger. A. B. Guest guest
brilliantly said, amber! wls ain't a cure, by any stretch of the imagination. the Man Above is in charge, though it's tough to stop being for willful;-) lori h. 23 grateful months post-op > I think thats a big misconception about wls, that were not hungry after. While physically most of us cant take as much food or else well be miserable, mentally we have to re-train or minds to want to eat less. Thats why my Dr. kept telling me that this is not the easy way out. Its a lot of work!! For me anyway. I have to pray constantly and remind myself that Im not the one in control(God is). And always remember how blessed I am to have a second chance. Especially after hearing all the stories of people desperately wanting surgery and not getting approved. That helps me big time to be grateful that I was approved so easily and have had no complications. My mother in law has the problem of not getting full mentally and her weightloss isnt moving very quickly. She gets really depressed. This group has been such a great tool in helping me get back on track. I only signed up a couple of days ago. You all inspire me. Thanks Amber > In case your wondering Im 8 months post op, 29 years old I weighed 387 before surgery and now Im
