You have very porous tissue under your tongue and blood vessles there that is part of the reason for it going there. you want the vitamin absorbed. By swallowing it 1st off the new stomach will not absorb anything then what hasnt disolved will pass through the intestines and since this procedure is a MALABSORBTION procedure you will not get much absorbtion there also... If you are taking B-12 daily you should talk to your personal Dr about a monthly shot then maybe only a weekly pill to keep levels high. It is very cheap and a bottle last a long time. A. B.
