And can you swallow the sublingual b-12

instead of putting it under your tongue? thanks ann m

NO you cant swallow the B-12 sublingual means under tongue.... by putting it

under your tongue it is absorbed. You have very porous tissue under your

tongue and blood vessles there that is part of the reason for it going there.

you

want the vitamin absorbed. By swallowing it 1st off the new stomach will not

absorb anything then what hasnt disolved will pass through the intestines and

since this procedure is a MALABSORBTION procedure you will not get much

absorbtion there also... If you are taking B-12 daily you should talk to your

personal

Dr about a monthly shot then maybe only a weekly pill to keep levels high. I

only take the shot monthly right now but may be adding a pill once a week

also....

Ask your doctor to give you prescription for B-12 Injection solution and give

yourself the shots are have someone give them to you. It is very cheap and a

bottle last a long time.
