Guest guest
Hi, Mine my come to an out-of-town surgery. I currently live in Dallas and have just started the process. It is highly possible that I may move to Atlanta sometime this year. I'm currently using an ortho who was recommended by my OS and she's great. At first, I asked her what would happen if I moved and she said she could transfer my records. However, it's really important (from what I understand from the posts) that your ortho and OS communicate and since mine have already worked together. . .I started thinking that maybe I would just keep my same ortho, at least through the surgery. She only sees me every 8 weeks, so I could probably continue seeing her even if I move. If after the surgery, it gets to be a pain, I may switch to someone local then, but as of now, it seems convenient. She's really close to my OS, so I would just try to schedule my appointments on the same day.
