Today is my 1 year anniversary!

Hi everyone,

I don't usually write.....just read.

Today is my one year anniversary! I've gone from size 22 in jeans to 8!!!

Beginning weight was 257,now 159.I'm 5'9 " ......so it's okay if I don't lose

anymore.I really don't want to.I said before surgery that I'd be happy if I

got

to 170.My BMI is normal....WOW!

I'm excited about becoming a first time grandma.My son will be having his

first child,a boy due on May 10.His name will be Max.I think I'm more excited

about this baby than I was my own three sons!

Life is so good.

Congratulations !!!

You are an inspiration to us all.

I'm only 3 months out from my surgery but I am excited that I'm

finally losing weight on a steady basis. I would lose for a few

weeks and then nothing. I have about twenty pounds to lose and then

I'll be at the point that I never could get below (280 pounds). I'd

always get to about 280 and then start gaining. This time its going

to be different!

Congrats! We started out about the same; Im 5'9 " pre-op weight 252, goal 160.

Im 3 1/2 months post op and have gone from size 22/24 jeans to size 16. Never

in my wildest dreams have I believed a size 8 was possible. You give me hope.
