Hello,

my name is a, I´m 18 and I´m from the Czech Republic. I am

having my lower jaw surgery (crossbite/assymetry)and genioplasty on

Tuesday, so keep your fingers crossed for me This site has really

helped me a lot and was my major source of informations about this

surgery. I will stay in hospital for 1 week, so then I will let you

know how it all went

I have one question - will I have bruises after that kind of surgery?

they only bruising i had was a line under my eye from where they

stiched my eye shut. other than that, only swelling. everyone is

different, though, so lets also see what other people have to say

Hi,

Good luck with your surgery. I personally had a lot of bruising.

Under my eyes, on my neck, down the front of my chest and now 2 1/2

weeks later my cheeks are starting to show that they are pretty

bruised too (I suppose they were so swollen that it didn't show at

first.) I bruise fairly easily, so hopefully you don't.
