Guest guest
I think CT calls them " caps. " It all depends on the baby's head shape and how they design the band to correct it. Generally speaking, a band that does not have a cap on the front, and comes up to cover across the back of the head (like Maysa, if there's a recent photo of her in the M folder), is a band designed to treat brachy. And generally speaking, the ones with caps, are primarily used for plagio. But if there's a combo of plagio and brachy, it will most likely look like a plagio band with caps. And some caps are big and some are small. My son had 3 (2 big, 1 small), some have 2. It's all costum made to fit the baby's head perfectly. Oh and a band made to treat schaphocephaly (longer than it is wide) usually is a full coverage helmet with no open spaces on top.
