Chicken's Natural diet and New member, and need chicken soup info.

According to the link below, a chicken's natural diet includes bugs, worms, etc. I would not classify that as vegetables. Therefore, I wouldn't consider chickens fed 100% vegetarian diets as being on a natural (for chickens) diet. Am I wrong? Is a bug an animal? When chickens are pastured, they're not 100% vegetarian fed in my opinion, so pastured is what I'd prefer if I could find it. However, I've heard that I should look for organic eggs where the chickens are treated humanly. I wish I could find locally. Oh well.

That must be why some people refuse to eat 'yard birds'.

I still think brown eggs taste better. As long as they are double A.
