Guest guest
Hey guys I just got discharged from the hospital today. I had my surgery on Wednesday and it took a lot longer than they thought. They predicted 2-3 hours and it actually came out to 6 hours. After I woke up they had me on an IV, a folly catheter, and a nasal gastric tube. The tube was the worst of all because I couldn't breath right. They put on an oxygen mask to clear my nose and that helped a lot. On Thursday they said if I drank a lot of water they would take out the iv. They took out the NG tube and the catheter. I felt a lot better and I even walked to the bathroom after they took out my IV. They gave me prednisone for inflammation and morphine for the pain, so the pain wasn't too bad. Right now I'm on vicodin for the pain, it's liquid since I'm wired shut. Being wired shut is really weird and now the 6-8 weeks sound really long. I might still be wired when my birthday comes March 3rd! Hopefully not. Do you guy have any recommendations for liquid recipes and other things for being wired shut?
