Guest guest
I had SARPE surgury in November 2003to correct crossbite. In January 2004 I got braces and doctor mentioned I had minor class 3 malclussion. I went in for my an adjustment the other day, and the ortho told me I was almost done (18 months total, 24 originally planned). He said there was not much more he could do for me. I was surprised b/c there are some bite issues I thought would be fixed in the next year. Biggest: my pre-molars, molars on the right side do not interlock with the bottom teeth, causing spaces and minor hitting. Plus the top arch not symmetrical, right side is somewhat indented. Crossbite is fixed and front teeth look 75% in place. But I feel I might have traded a crossbite for another problem... non-locking bite. Somewhat disappointing Anyone have similar less than " perfect " bites, after braces, with class 3s????????
