Insurance taking back payment?

I went to the OS today and they indicated that the insurance company

accidently paid for the genio when they should not have. The

insurance co. pre-certified the genio and paid the OS and now the OS

is saying the insurance company wants that money back.

I called the insurance co. and they told me they don't have any

record or notes saying they are not paying for the genio surgery or

want money back. So I called my OS' office and asked if they had

anything in writing saying the insurance co. was not paying and they

told me " no " .

I paid my OS up front and should be getting almost the whole amount

back that I paid, so when I asked for the reimbusement today the OS'

office told me they could not give me the refund yet because of the

insurance co. supposedly not paying for the genio. Could this be my

OS wanting more money from me and being shady about it?

Has anyone had this happen to them, about the insurance co. wanting

money back after they have already paid out.
