Teeth not touching after surgery???

Hi all

I'm now 3 1/2 weeks post-op. I had upper and lower and two wisdom

teeth removed.

Before surgery only my molars touched and now they don't seem to and

none of my other teeth seem to touch either. The braces on my bottom

teeth are stopping my top teeth coming down any further.

I'm not seeing my surgeon again until I get my braces removed (I

guess that'll be in six to nine months) and I don't see my

orthodontist until mid-March.

Has anyone else noticed anything similar? For all I know it could be

perfectly normal. My teeth have not moved since surgery and the

surgeon seemed perfectly happy with how things looked. My boyfriend

says I'm just being paranoid but I'm so worried about something

going wrong and having to go back for a second surgery.

I'm going back to work on Monday and I can't wait! I am begining to

get bored sitting at home all day.
