Hello,

I just read your last post and realized that your situation is

similiar to mine. I just got braces on about one month ago without

final approval yet from my insurance company: Blue Cross Blue Shield

of Massachusetts. I read that you also have BCBS...is it through

MA? They initially denied my first request to cover the surgery, but

my surgeon just wrote an appeal letter. I decided I have to go

through with this surgery, insurance or no insurance, because my

teeth and jaw have been physically bothering me long

enough...however, I'm praying insurance will cover some of this

procedure in the long run. Anyway, let me know how your ortho

process (insurance or otherwise) goes.
