Guest guest
I'm 22 years out, and have been taking B12 injections since 1989. I use to get hives on my hips, and lower stomach when I'd get the injections. The would go away after itching for about an hour, and I wouldn't have any other problems after that. I talked to my PCP about it, and he'd never heard of any such thing either. Are you receiving any other type of injection with the B12. I receive my hormones, along with the B12. I had to have them seperated for awhile due to the hives, but have seemed to outgrown the problem, and causing hard knots in my hips. What was the dosage? Maybe you were given too much at one time, or as already mentioned, there was something else in the B12 that caused the reaction. B12 will definetly make you feel better, and is a necessity for a WLS patient. Gail
