I was putting my flaxseed meal in my shakes and while it wasn't " bad " , I

wasn't enjoying my shakes as much as I used to. So now, I just put 2 or 3

tablespoons in a small bowl and eat it dry. I don't love it, I don't hate it.

I

just do it. I have to say, in the 3 months I'm taking it, my cholesterol has

gone down, my good cholesterol is way up, and for the first time that I can

remember in my adult life, my cholesterol ratio is normal. (I happen to have

had

my blood work taken just before I started the flaxseed meal and I just had it

redone last week.)

WOW!! And I thought *I* was hardcore because I just make oatmeal out of the

flaxseed. I put hot water in, a packet of Splenda, and a couple tablespoons

of half-and-half (and a little salt, saltaholic that I am). I started to eat

it in my cottage cheese, but I couldn't STAND it the second time I tried

that (even though I really enjoyed it the first time! Will have to try

again.) I couldn't handle the flaxseed in my shakes...I like smooth shakes,

not crunchy ones.
