Guest guest
I use Yogourmet to make my goat milk yogurt. I've read somewhere it takes 3 cups of yogurt a day to get the best amount of beneficial bacteria. I can't eat that much as it constipates me. I was wondering if it would be okay to double the amount of yogurt starter (4 packs, instead of 2) for 2 quarts of milk. I reason that 1-1/2 cups of yogurt with a double batch of starter would provide the same amount of beneficial bacteria as 3 cups of yogurt with a single batch of starter. Any reason this would not work or not be a good idea? My goal is to eat the least amount of yogurt for the greatest amount of beneficial bacteria since milk constipates me.
