Guest guest
Amen !!!! I feel the same way you do. I too was watching the world go by without me. Wanting to do so many things and not able to. I'm starting to get back into life again. This surgery for me was also the end of the line. My GP and I didn't feel there was any other way I'd live to a ripe old age. My problems now are trying to get in the necessary calories and liquid. Never in my life did I ever think I would ever say " I'm just not hungry " .....lol. I have to pretty much force down what I eat and struggling to get in 1000 to 1200 calories. Some days I get closer than others to the 1000. I've already reached this first plateau and I'm a little frustrated. The Dr said I need to eat more to get the calories in. So now it seems I'm eating all day....lol. I'm at the end of my 6th week out of surgery and I'm finding myself real tired and belly is sore. Not sure if I'm trying to do to much or what. Has anyone else experienced this? I really haven't lifted or pushed anything heavy so I'm hoping I haven't done anything wrong and it's just part of the healing process. Well enough rambling for now. Hope everyone has a good day and God Bless!!! Laurette 4/23/04 309/290/265/???
