Guest guest
Hi Bill, I had my surgery a couple days after my 28th Birthday. Still young! : ) It's by far the best thing I could have done for myself. Definitely scary going in to it. Now I have found my New Normal lifestyle and I am enjoying seeing less of myself daily. So far, I can fit in booths when we go out to eat, Movie seats are comfortable (Sorta except my butt gets sore from sitting after awhile), Life is becoming easier to live. REALLY LIVE! I went to a carnival with my Nephew and we went on a couple rides together. It was so nice not having to worry about if the safety devices would fit on me. Back seat-seat belts fit now! There are so many things that have changed for the better since the surgery. For me the best thing so far is seeing the look on my Husband's face when he sees me walking out of my office, in a store, or wherever we are. He is always doing double takes. It's very fun to be the girl that turns his head. So, I am not real sure what information you are looking for, but I hope this helped. Please feel free to ask specific questions, I'd be happy to answer. Blessings, and good luck on the quest for weight loss. Guest guest
just a thought.. support groups are wonderful.. i go to one every third thursday of the month at my local hospitol comunity memorial hospitol in ventura.. i live in ventura county i am 29 and ther eis some younger than i am and some older and some even older than that.. for a person to know first hand i suggest the support groups for when they are up for open conversation. you may not want to take the young man there but you can go and ask away.. i have never ever had a negative feeling at any of the support groups i have attented for any surgical weightloss program.. 449 now 427 surgery june 23.04 Dr. helmuth Billy > >Reply-To: Gastric_Bypass_Family >To: Gastric_Bypass_Family >Subject: WLS for young adults? >Date: Sat, 05 Jun 2004 14:52:52 -0000 > >does anyone have experience with rny or other wls for a young man of >21 years of age? any input i can share with him is appreciated. > >bill g > _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
