Guest guest
hey Katja, Thanks for your reply. I have not thought about going toa dermotologist.. I've never been to one for acne... I don't think it's bad enough to warrant that...Maybe just a facial or something. Or maybe I'll use my brother pro-active. I am going to wear the rubber bands as long as I can... till they tell me there is no point in wearing them anymore. They haven't given me a " reason " why I feel like my jaw is sliding back... they do acknowledge that there is still a bit of an overbite but they say it will be fixed with the braces. My boyfriend is Pissed about it. He wants to know why my teeth don't shut like perfectly fitting puzzle peices like his do... he makes me mad when he gets madder about it than I do. Ithink when all is said and done, I willbe as happy with it as I need to be. He is definielt trying to examine my modlines but I am not letting him do that anymore... I tellhim to go away and mind his own business. My mouth now feels like it is opening now almost entirely. When I eat I am cutting my foods into small peices and sometimes have a hard time moving them in my mouth becuase I can't chew the peices as thouroughly as I used to but it feels only slightly more weird than it did before. When I take out the rubber bands and try to open my mouth as wide as it can, it feels like it opens almost all the way... then it hurts a bit at my bottom jaw - more on the left side than right. I have even been able top floss in my very back teeth. More later, T. > > > > Hey there... Guest guest
I haven't posted in awhile, but have been lurking.... I have been having a lot of dr appts and tests lately. It's been wearing me out, but it's worth it. Dartmouth Hitchcock in NH (a new hospital for me) is about 2 hrs. away. The drs so far have been good and thorough, which I like. The possible diagnosis is schleroderma just affecting the gastrointestinal system. I hope that finding out what is wrong will result in being able to treat it. I have had bad stomach issues for about 2 yrs now. I am already on 3 types of meds for nausea and vomiting, but they don't help much. So that's what has been going on with me... Debbie T Co-moderator PS We are getting our first snowfall this morning...Just a dusting so far , but pretty.
