i'm still having a lot of gas even 6-1/2 weeks out. my nurse said it's not

abnormal for gastric patients to have a lot of gas....wonderful...lol. gas-x

and i are becoming good friends...LOL

I had terrible gas as well. My doctor told me to take two gas-x a day

and I still had gas. I finally had a bowel movement like 9 days post

op. I know exactly what you're going through. It's painful.

If you are having trouble passing gas, and have a tummy ache everytime

you even drink water, you should contact your doctor right away,

especially if you have not had a bowel movement. Tell him all your

concerns that you posted here. I have not had my surgery yet but I

have done alot of research on this type of surgery. So first thing

tomorrow please call your doctor.
