Guest guest
Hi , STOP weighing yourself. At least that's what my Dr. and his staff keep telling me. You are probably gaining muscle and that's a great thing. You are also probably losing inches and that too is a great thing. I was told to only weigh myself once a month. On the same day and time each month to get an accurate weight. Our weight fluctuates so much from day to day that we will only be causing us more grief if we jump on the scale everyday. Believe me I'm right with you on this but I'm trying real hard not to. Keep up the good work and keep your chin up. Take care and God Bless!!! Laurette 4/23/04 309/290/265/??? Guest guest
, I agree with Laurette. You will drive yourself made if are weighing yourself daily or every other day. I did the same thing and would go through some down feelings. My advise is to STOP looking at that darn scale! The weight WILL come off as long as you're following your physician's direction. The key thing to remember at this point of the game is P A T I E N C E ! So what if you plateau, from what I understand, women tend to plateau frequently through this process, so relax and enjoy the ride. Do not get frustrated or discouraged, you've already experienced enough of that in your past life. Now it's time to live the life that you've chosen and relax. You'll be that size 4 before you know it. -Ray > Hi everyone, > > I am so discouraged and need some advise. I has surgery on May 13th but I am already at a plateau, or at least I think. --SNIP--
Guest guest
sounds like a wonderful idea. was thinking of giving mine to our area clothing center or the clothing exchange at my bariatric center.
Guest guest
instead of weighing i started going thru my closet and trying on stuff that didnt fit before ( its very exciting) or what you can do is find something you know doest fit and keep trying it on and one fine day, viola! Guest guest
It is so frustrating....I understand. I am addicted to that scale too.......For the past 4 months, my weight has not moved............I am able to wear smaller clothes, but the weight is not coming off. I do get on the scale every day, but I realize that my weight will fluctuate. Our bodies are not used to losing this much weight this quick....let your body catch up to the numbers on the scale....it will happen......
