Guest guest
Another note regarding sinus issues that won't go away. My ENT doc had me do a homemade nasal spray using: 1/8 tsp. of sea salt1/8 tsp Nystatin powder (compounding pharmacy will have this) 1/4 cup distilled waterMix thoroughly and pour into a nasal sprayer and keep refrigerated Be sure to disinfect everything that will be used to make and hold solution It worked when nothing else would work for my sinuses. Claire Re: Oil of Oregano? One thing I always do is use normal saline solution for my nose. You mix up 1/4 teaspoon salt in 1/2 cup water or same proportions to other amounts of water. You need a bit hotter than lukewarm for it to dissolve, but lukewarm to use. A neti pot is probably the best but I've spend years just holding some in my hand. Do one nostril several times, and the other. Done several times a day and particularly at bedtime can really help clear the nose, and I read recently that the salt is therapeutic as well.
