Guest guest
Fay, Is that only 1000 mg of elemental (as citrate, of course)? I take 2000 and 2500 if I'm having a good-schedule day as I am concerned that our malabsorption issues in general will carry over to calcium as well. My DEXAs are normal so far (at 35 yo). Guest guest
I shrank about an inch and a half, from 6' 3 1/2 " to 6' 2 " . I think it is more to do with old age settling in that the operation. Also, many, if not most, would recommend that you take calcium supplements three times a day, if not four. Taking calcium just twice a day is on the borderline of being adequate at best.
