Guest guest
Just had to share...our daughter who is a senior in college had to give an informational speech on Wed in her speech class. Her topic--The SCD. Her props--renderings of monosaccharides, disaccharides, and polysaccharides. She has been on SCD since she was 15--for 8 years. I wish I could say that SCD has solved everything, but she seems to have many complicating issues. But she is adamant about eating SCD because it does help. Just found out she doesn't have the gene which causes your liver to make glutathione. Hoping that knowledge will help. Just found out she doesn't have the gene which causes your liver to make glutathione. Yeah - when the entire genome is thoroughly mapped, I bet they'll find there are allsorts of DNA avenues to arrive at these various cul de sacs within our disease complex, which is why the one drug/method fits all approach of conventional medicine hasproven not to work for so many of us. I guess the solution here is to make lots of broths? Can she metabolize it whenshe gets it through supplementation, whether food or vitamin based? Her college schedule is really hectic and she is 3 hrs from home so doesn't always get done what would be optimal--w/o mom there "pushing" it. She has started getting glutathione through IVs. Guest guest
I am very proud of your daughter! I wonder if anyone in her class, after hearing her presentation, had an ‘aha’ moment concerning their own state of health. I hope the glutathione by IV is successful for her.
