Guest guest
, I am wired shut right now. Day 8 Post-Op with upper jaw advancement. I should also point out I have really bad allergies, so yes I was very scared at first, but to tell you the truth nothing bad ever happend. I do sleep slightly elevated, this helps me. I sleep with 2 oversize pillows. I would recommend you get liquid DimeTapp (grape flavor) is nice. I take an adult dose 2 times a day and it keeps me pretty clear. I do have a little conjestion in the morning when I wake up, but I take a nice steamy shower, eat and then take my DimeTapp. I did have lots of conjestion the first couple of days Post-op. I think it started to fade on Day 4 or 5. Remember if you vomit all your drinking is liquid so it will go right through. Just let it happen and try not to panic. I did vomit 1 time in the hospital. It was not as bad as I thought it might be. Cheer Up and Goodluck. We will be here for ya waiting to hear your great news when your all done.
