Alyssa, Marilyn is giving

two good ideas!

I listened to A Walk In The Woods as an audio book this past Summer

while in Minnesota. What a hoot! Much as I love reading, I have

found that my eye moves more quickly than the speed of an audio book.

And this was a book worth getting every word.

There's one lady whose son just did a two week hike, and she prepared

and dried all his meals.

rendered fat. The voyageurs and

mountain men lived for months at a time off it.
