Guest guest
Hi Irene, Sounds like you've had a lot of improvement, and the rest can hopefully easily enough be fixed with ortho. That is wonderful!! My face was so assymetrical that I figure anything is an improvement. As far as if I am happy with my results yet... the jury is still out. I still have the splint in so I can't tell at all how my bite is yet. There is residual swelling in one of my joints, so that also makes the bite hard to see because it temporarily affects the position of my lower jaw in relation to the upper. I have a little lip incompetence now that I am trying not to worry about, but honestly am really worried. I didn't have any before and had the opposite- almost duck lips. So right now I am worried about my mouth and how my lips will come together and how the soft tissue in that area will look. Right now, I can't tell if they aren't meeting due to swelling or what? I plan to ask at my appt. next week. It is probably due to the swelling but it is hard to not worry!! So far everything does seem improved. Once I know better, I'll let you know. AND you have to let me know what your ortho says about correcting everything!! Ok? Deal?!
