Guest guest
Thanks Stacey. I'll see if this compares with hers. I don't know that this is the same thing but I've suffered with Alice in Wonderland Syndrome since I was young. It's not something that many neurologists recognize yet and they don't know what causes it (though there are theories - occular migraines being one of them). The main symptom for me is essentially a hallucination where my perspective gets messed up. As in, I'll see something and it will look like it's shrinking (as though it's been pulled away from me). The reason I mention it is because one of the things that happens when it acts up is that, because of that shrinking, I can't focus on any one place. I have to constantly move my eyes around the room. And, although I know that there's no reason to worry, I get really anxious. Well...terrified to be honest. I don't know if it's the same thing but it sounds similar. Unfortunately I couldn't give any advice about it though because, for me, diet hasn't had any effect one way or the other. The only thing I notice is that it's much, much worse if I'm overtired. Stacey>> My mother who has chronic intestinal problems and considering going on the diet has started complaining about her eyes doing weird things. She notices it especially when she's talking face to face with someone, she can't focus, feels anxious and has to look away. Does this compare with what you're experiencing? Does anyone else have weird things going on with their eyes?> > "I have been cooking my veggies/fruits for about 45 min to an hour because I had to start adding higher quantities due to extreme fatigue. My eyes wouldn't focus, hard to move, or think, etc. I also added an iron suppliment back in when I started upping my servings/day of carbs. I started feeling better, also getting better from a flair."> > > > Darlene> Intestinal Dysbiosis> SCD 2 weeks> > > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _> The new Internet Explorer® 8 - Faster, safer, easier. Guest guest
Get some vitamin D3 and start on a high dose - like 10,000 IUs for a week and thengo down to something like 5000 IUs. MaraKat,I always feel better when I get lots of sun. I feel energized, calm and happy after laying outside soaking it up. Don't feel silly. Must be related to all the Vit D you're getting. Then on the really cloudy ones it gets worse again. I feel silly, but it seems to have so much to do with it!Kat>> Thanks Stacey.
