Same pain in tops of feet and back

Does anyone else have pain on the tops of his/her feet that happens at almost the same time as pain a particular area in the back (in the area where the kidneys are)? It's a sudden pain and comes on almost as quickly as it leaves. Sometimes it happens several times a day, and sometimes it doesn't happen for months. Does anyone know what causes that? I'm curious.
