Guest guest
My surgery was 12/01. I never reached goal because I never trained myself to eat properly. This year I've put on 15 lbs due to some stresses and my love for chocolate. This morning begins day 6 of the South Beach Diet for me and I'm down 7 lbs. I've yet to have a perfect day on this diet. It could be described as a good carb, good fat diet. I know I'm not the only one to regain so I wanted to share this. I've been very suprised to loose this quickly after having surgery. They say it you lose between 8-13 lbs the first two weeks and it affects the belly fat first. There is a book and cd out. Here are a few links if you are in need.......... phase 1 recipes http://forums.prevention.com/thread.jsp?forum=40 & thread=10756 support forum http://forums.prevention.com/forum.jsp?forum=40 The diet http://www.prevention.com/cda/feature2002/0,4780,5345,00.html Diet recipes http://pub46.ezboard.com/brecipeexchange11667 I've been shocked that I've mananged to stay mostly on track this long as I've been unable to do a protein fast for a full day much less three.
