I don't think I could go vegan - I do like cheese a little too much ) But my biggest problem with meat is more as a conscientious objector - I would rather support local, environmentally conscious, humane, organic farmers and ranchers. But the price tag on this kind of meat tends to be high so I can't have it all the time because of my budget. So - if I have a few high-quality meat meals each week, balanced by meatless meals the other nights, it would be the ideal situation. The bottom line is keeping healthy, though - I don't want to jeapardize my health by not getting enough protein.
