Guest guest
My daughter had this at 1st with her STARband also. A quick adjustment to care of it. It should not block his vision. I do think it looks like it is covering to much of his eye. I would call the ortho and say it needs an adjustment. Angie Angry Eye How many of you have experienced the "angry eye" when your little one is in a STARband? Evan just got his band last Thursday, and it slides so far forward to the point of it resting on the bridge of his nose and over one eyelid. I pointed this out at the initial fitting, and was told that it was normal for some of the band to cover his eye and make it look angry. However, I feel like this is more than that, and it is blocking his vision. I guess from all the pictures I had seen of other babies in their bands, i thought we would see some more of his eyes. I put up a picture of him in it under E. This photo shows some of the slipping, but it slips even further down. Should I expect better than this? Thanks for the advice! Guest guest
My son had the same problem at 1st with the starband. I made an appointment right away and they put some pads in to stop the slipping and it worked. From what I have been told it should sit right on the brow line and might cover some of the brow but not the eyes. Hope you can get this fixed.
