Guest guest
Well I've gone thru the first 2 stages, surgery and wired shut. Now the 3rd stage: You know you really can't eat anthing good yet. Really, like someone just said, not satisfing. Part of it are the surgical hooks for the rubber bands. And this is the point of my post. Those hooks are going to tear up the inside of you mouth, guarrenteed. Get yourself lots of braces wax from the drug store. Once I figured this out it got a whole lot better. Still a problem eating, weakness in the jaw and food getting stuck in the hooks, but at least I am not miserable. Which you will be if you let the hooks keep scratching the inside of your mouth. Just my 2 cents. Dave L.
Guest guest
ugh Dave, thanks for the heads up although it's actually depressed me. i was wondering about how my mouth would co-habit with the hooks. Guess my stock of wax will come in helpful after all. How long until they take the hooks out of your mouth? Sara > > Well I've gone thru the first 2 stages, surgery and wired shut.
