Guest guest
I feel your pain. I got unwired after 5 1/2 weeks and THOUGHT I would get my splint out too and be able to eat grits eggs, oatmeal, and fantasized about cutting a hamburger into little pieces. Instead I got the news my splint would be left in for two more weeks and found I could open MAYBE a cm wide. Mashed potatoes was the ONLY thing I could muster and that was messy and painful. Now I get my splint out in two days and it's been about 8 weeks since " real " food. At this point I can only dream of REAl food which to me too is a hamburger! jane > > Hi all, I am 5 weeks post-op and got my splint and rubber bands removed today.
