Guest guest
Hi all, I am getting nervous again. I don't suspect my vivit will be painful but I am getting my splint removed Thursday and after I am supposed to go straight to my OT to get a new top arch put in because my arch now is cut right down the middle due to my Le Fort (2 piece) Here's the problem. I am having so much trouble scheduling my appointment around work. The secretary says I am not being " fair " to them because last week I requested my appointment to be after lunch (that is the only time I have a break at the end of the day) I have used every sick day and more. If I miss work now it will be a break in service which could cause me to lose my insurance. I explained all this to the secretary and she commented once again its not " fair " for the dr to have to work around everyone's personal schedule. She said I could come Thursday at 2:30 and she would guarantee that I would be finished at 3:30or would get in at that time. My appt with my OT is 3:30 Thursday the very latest he takes patients. My OT doesn't work opn Fridays so here is my HUGE concern...if I get my arch out and don't get to my OT then I have to wait til Monday afternoon to get my top arch...4 days later with no arch at all on my top, what will happen to my teeth???? I am so frustrated with these so called professionals at this dr's office!!! " Fair " is not me being uninformed, spoken to disrespectfully by the secretary and the dr, and being totally unaware of my treatment despite my questions OH YA and after all that BCBS just made a payment to them for $10,000!!! Guest guest
Still feel the same way that I posted before. I have made no allegations on anyone HOWEVER I feel we all have a story to tell about our surgery process and that includes at times if we are pleased or displeased. So far the last two months the only surgeons that I have seen named on this sight and on the back files were those being recommended?? > > > > > > Not the best idea ever offered, posting specifically about docs, > with > > > names. > > > > > > Most of us do indeed think our surgeons were quite wonderful. Guest guest
Jane, You are right that the only doctors named so far were on a positive note. I believe it is our best interest to keep it that way. The reason this subject is being discussed is because a poster asked for both positive and negative. Although the posters request is more than legitimate, I would like to discourage naming specific doctors in our negative posts.
