Guest guest
I really feel badly that you haven't gotten more of a return on your investment, this surgery. I sometimes feel like I fought so hard and gave up so much for less than what I had hoped. But, realistically, I am happier now than ever because despite the negative impact of slow weight loss, I still have a great attitude about it all. I guess I can learnt o accept it if I can't/don't end up having the revision. BTW, I am using Dr. Oh, who comes highly recommended for a good reason, he's one of the best. I wish more than anything that I'd used him to begin with, but hindsight is 20/20. I just " had " to have lap RNY, not really knowing anything about proximal or distal. And I thought I had done a lot of research then, ha! But, there are no do-overs just repairs to the present and hope that the future turns out as we hope. Please let us all know what is going on with the pain you are having. I am having the same symptoms. Pain in the stomach area much like gall bladder pain but goes away when I take sublingual Hyoscyamine. That is the only thing that works for me and I hoping with a revision maybe the surgeon can see what is going on in there. Best of luck to you and I hope you feel better M Amarillo, tx > > > I'm just curious, when people talk about a revision, what does > > that mean? > > > > > > > > > Thanks in advance, > > > Shanti
