Hi everyone,

My surgeon's nurse/bariatric coordinator made it to our 3rd local

meeting Thursday night for a guest appearance.

One thing we talked about was B vitamins. I mentioned that I recently

added a B Complex and I feel so much better, definitely more energy.

(I follow Vitalady's basic plan for distals so it wasn't iron or B12,

labs have been ok so far).

The R.N. said they are starting to recommend a B complex to post-ops

because they are seeing signs of Beri-Beri. Hmm, I learn so much from

Vitalady...why does it always seem my surgeon's office is months

(years) behind?

Anywho, I just wonder what others' experiences have been, what your

docs might be saying. Here is an interesting nutrition site I found

via a google on Beri-Beri.

Of course, IMHO, nothing will replace the experiences we all share

with one another :)

Thanks for all the feedback on my previous questions. I may not have

replied personally to everyone but I do appreciate it! I'm mostly a

lurker again since I am working full time 6 days a week...have more

energy now and DH thinks it means I can help pay these bills for all

the vites & protein, new clothes, etc. Hmmmph! ;)

Ciao for now grads!
