Hi, first post on the forum. Getting upper and lower done in early

August. Had braces for about 3 months now.

I work as a day trader and am able to work from home on my computer

setup...I want to know what the first few weeks of recovery are going

to be like and whether I'll feel up to working at all. I have no

illusions that this is going to be an easy recovery -- I'm fully

expecting 3 to 4 days of being completely bedridden, then another

week

or 2 confined to my apt., and then another few weeks of very limited

activities before I'm even ready to think about interacting socially

again.

But I want to know whether, in weeks 1 through 4 (exculding the first

few days post-op), I'll feel well enough to sit in front of my

computer and trade for 6 - 8 hours / day. I wouldn't need to talk to

anyone, just sit there, concentrate and click away. Or is it the

kind

of recovery where I'll feel like doing nothing except lying in bed

all

day staring at the ceiling high on percocet??
