Katja: On removing Ceramics

Katja, in my case it wasn't less pleasant to get the ceramics

removed,it just took a little longer to get those buggers off:-).

This said, this was over ten years ago and so advancements may well

have been made in terms of glue used. I only remember this because

when i was first proposed the idea of ceramics by my ortho i too was

concerned about them falling off and swallowing them and then not

being able to locate them inside my body via xrays. That's when my

ortho explained to me that they use a different type of cement/glue

to stick them on the teeth. Again, this was a while back so things

may be different now. Either way, when i took the ceramics off it

took maybe 30 minutes longer than when i had had the metalic ones

removed, simply because they had to scrape away more. I didn't mean
