HI!

On the subject of butter:

I want to try making my own because I have a source of excellent cream. The directions I have read suggest fermenting the butter first. Could I make butter from SCD French Cream?

Thanks for your advice.

Regards .... Pat

(still with the big pain in my left side and a doctor who wants me to have my gallbladder removed.

Pat,You don't need to ferment the cream first, but it is really tasty making butter from SCD French Cream. It will also whip just the same as fresh cream too.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Thu, March 25, 2010 4:33:34 PMSubject: Re:

I asked him the same question (know-it-all that I am ) and he said it's a ... (now I forgot the term) .... in other words the pain from my gallbladder is shifting the pain to the other side. I have an appointment to see a GI specialist April 21st. I hope everything is calm until then. There must be some sort of test to determine if it's really my gallbladder. I hate losing body parts unnecessarily .

My GI system has been really bad for the last few months. SCD appears to really calm things down. I have 4 other autoimmune conditions and I think it's related, but what do I know. I don't have GOD after my name .... oh, I mean MD.

Regards ..... Pat

Amelia:

Thanks. I didn't want to waste a pint of the good stuff (from a local dairy). Of course it really wouldn't be wasted. My dog (bratty shiba inu ..... there is no other kind) loves my 'errors".

I'll start the yogurt tomorrow.

Regards .... Pat
