Guest guest
justg wondering how common it is to donate your own blood. It seems that a ot of people on this group go through a lot more than i did in prep for the surgery. Not to drum down the seriousness of anyones case, we are all going through/went through major surgery here but don't some of you feel the doctors really work you up for the worse? I know my surgery was supposed to be intermediate-major work, but when i see the very little prep i went through compared to most it makes me wonder. Also, the doctors didnt play down the seriousness for me, but they didnt make me feel like I was goign through a heart transplant or anything. most of my fear was thigns that I conjred up myself, and now in heinsight (three days of heinsight) i was sily for worrying about it. My operation thus far was a breeze compared to what I expected. I didn't expect to be able to breath well when i came-to, but i think i breathed better through my nose then than I have in the past 2 years. Honestly, the hardest part at this point is not being able to talk to my friends (other than online, which is a pain in the rear) and the constant hunger. but that is cured pretty fast when I think back to the porkchop my mom blended for me the other day.. Just take it easy peeps, this thingis a breeze. The docs, nurses, anethesist, or staff everyone was so good to me adn im sure they will be to you. If they arent good to you from the get go start considering another surgeon. K __________________________________________________
