Hi, I had my surgery a week ago today. The first week I was very tired

and weak. This week I am having some pain and some crying melt downs,

and I not sure why I'm melting down.

My mom came for a week and really ddin't need her help, she was a

little in the way because I thought I need to figure this out on my

own. She would suggest eggnog, and all I really want is food food not

sweet food.

Oh I was told I could npt lift anything over 10 lbs for at least 3

weeks. The biggest thing is you will look normal so you will think you

should be normal, not soooooo.

I didn't answer your question but I gave you some question you will

have to answer yourself then you will know how long you will need help.

Good luck

Michele

I agree with Michele. My boyfirend stayed with me for the first

week, but I really did things on my own. I didn't need much help

from him at all. However, I can;t imagine taking care of kids for at

least a full week. You get tired pretty quick. I found that having

some one around all of the time actually made things worse for me

because I found myself trying to talk them the whole time, which is

nearly impossible right now, and it is truly exhausting.
