Doesn't it feel great to be almost " normal " after all these years! Congratulations on your speedy recovery and continued good health to you. Remember, slow and steady wins the race! Guest guest
Jac, that's great news! So, how's Mom doing? in NJ ******************* > Well, I'm very pleased with the results! I've lost 17 pounds (I don't know where it left from, but it's gone...), and I haven't had a single vomiting instance! What a relief after so many years! I ate a hot link (spicy sausage) the other day, and didn't even get a burp. In the past, the first bite would have sent me looking for a place to " relieve " myself. And my former " lactose intolerance " is gone! For the first time in over 20 years, I can eat a few bites of ice cream without getting violently ill. All this is absolutely incredible to me. > Fortunately, the amount I can eat before feeling full has NOT changed, except for becoming slightly less... 3 or 4 bites, and I'm done for a few hours. > I saw my surgeon today for a follow up. He couldn't believe the way I've recovered, and said my success far exceeded his expectations.
